Age 83, Little Chute, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2007, at Parkside Care Center. He was born October 2, 1923, in Chicago. Ralph was united in marriage to Carol Anderson on September 4, 1953, in Chicago, Ill. They had 52 years of marriage before Carol passed away on December 14, 2005. Ralph enjoyed spending time with his family and little “Dixie”. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan, and spent time reading and doing word finds.

Survivors include his daughter, Donna Van Nuland, Combined Locks, and her special friend, George Merschdorf; three grandchildren, Ralph (Mary) Van Nuland, Kimberly, Ronald (Deborah) Van Nuland, Germantown, and Rhonda (James) Bartelt, Darboy; there are nine great grandchildren, Ellen (Jason) Christie, Rebecca, and Jacob Van Nuland; Tyler, Philip, and Aaron Van Nuland; and Michael, Matthew, and Heather Bartelt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Carmella Rogers (Chicago), his mother and father-in-law, Levi and Clara Anderson (Kaukauna), and his son-in-law, Philip Van Nuland (Combined Locks).

Memorial services for Ralph will be at 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2007 at St. Luke Ev. Lutheran Church, 705 Greenfield Drive, Little Chute, with Rev. Ronald Szep officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services.
