Age 89, passed away unexpectedly in her home in Menasha on Saturday, September 28, 2002. She was in good health until the very end when our Lord saw fit to take her home. Rachel was born on January 26, 1913, the daughter of the late Earl and Anna (Nohr) Schneider, in the community of Shirley, WI. She lived in Shirley until the family moved to Dundas, where her father operated a cheese factory for a number of years. The family then moved to Appleton where she lived until her death. In Appleton she worked for a number of years at the Zwicker Knitting Mills. While in Appleton, she married Roy H. Zeh, who preceded her in death. Rachel was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Appleton where she thoroughly enjoyed women’s bible study, numerous other activities of the church, and the fellowship of a host of friends.

Rachel is survived by two brothers: Roy F. (Ellen) Schneider of Daytona Beach, FL and Sherman K. (Virginia C.) Schneider of Waupaca; five nephews and nieces: Kathy (Thomas) Tyrrell of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Roger Schneider of Waupaca, Robert L. (Sue) Schneider of Mequon, Brenda (John) Roe of Waupaca, and Dawn (Robert) Brinkman of Colgate; one great niece and five great nephews: Jeremy (Alison) Roe, Randy (Gigi) Schneider, David and Rebecca Schneider, and Joshua and Jordan Brinkman; two great-great nieces: Shelby and Bryana Roe; and one great-great nephew, Jeremiah Schneider. Rachel is further survived numerous relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2002, at FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH, 311 West Evergreen Dr, Appleton, with Pastor William Meyers officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Appleton Highland Memorial Park.
