Rachel E. Evans

April 3, 1970 — August 6, 2018

Rachel E. Evans, age 48, of Kimberly, passed away at her home on Monday, August 6, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 3, 1970 to Guy Colville and Tommye Curatolo in San Diego, CA. Rachel graduated from Mira Mesa High School in San Diego, CA 1988.

Rachel met Joe while living in San Diego and in 2006 they picked up roots and moved to Wisconsin. They married in Kimberly on April 7, 2012.

Rachel’s passion in life was music, she possessed the natural ability to play instruments and write songs. She also enjoyed the beauty of water and beaches. Most family trips and vacations where either spent on or around the water. Rachel always looked forward to lunches with her many friends. Above all she cherished the small moments whether it was cooking or playing guitar with Joe or her favorite movie nights with Zack.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; her parents, Guy Colville and Tommye Curatolo; her son, Zack Ninmer; her brother, Donny (Jennifer Trotter) Holdren; her sisters, Barbara (Robert) Molina and Dawn (James) Huff; her mother-in-law, Diane Evans; brothers-in-law, John (Shawnna) Evans and Don Evans. Rachel is further survived by her three furry companions, Gully, Bella and Pantera and many other dear family members and friends too numerous to list but never forgotten.

Rachel was preceded in death by her stepfather, Anthony Curatolo and stepbrother, Tony Curatolo.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Wright Sunset Park, 800 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly at 2:00 p.m. Family will receive guests starting at 12:30 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life. Online condolences can be shared at www.wichmannfargo.com.
