Priscilla E. Karnopp

April 19, 1926 — December 10, 2005

Karnopp, Priscilla Eva
nee Landskron
Appleton

Priscilla was born on April 19, 1926 in Neenah to the late Otto and Linda (Bahr) Landskron.
The Lord embraced “Percy” to be with him in Heaven on December 10, 2005. She resided for many years in Menasha with her husband Wilbert L. Karnopp and five children. Percy and Willie moved to “the Hilltop” in Saxeville in 1978. He preceded her in death on May 5, 1991. Percy eventually moved to Elizabeth Court in Menasha where she was blessed with many caring and giving friends. She was then cared for by her daughter Cheri until the time of her passing. Percy was a loving and caring woman who will be remembered by all who’s lives she touched.
Percy was employed for over 30 years in the bindery at Banta’s Midway plant before she retired. Percy was an avid bowler and loved to spend time with friends on weekend adventures to the casino. She had a great love for wildlife and nature. She loved the beauty of the flowers in the spring and the color of the trees in the Fall. She always had a smile on her face for her grandchildren and never forgot anyone on their birthday or the Holidays. In Percy’s words, life was “Schmucks Good!”
Percy is survived by her children: Mrs. Louis (Cheri) Casamassa, Carla (Dale) Krutzik, Bruce (Mary) Karnopp, Cathie (Ray) Racette, and Brenda (Ron) Gresl; her grandchildren: Nicole Casamassa (Sandi Brown), Gina Gresl, Ryan and Adam Racette, Shawn Kraus, Ethan Karnopp, Carrie Gountanis, Jill Ross, Lindsay Lefeber; great-grandchildren: Brayden, Kylie, Eric, Madison, Alexis, Morgan, Katie, and Elaina; great-great-granddaughter Alexis; sister; Florence Hinkens; sister in law: Bonnie Landskron; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Wilbert, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Elmer and Kenneth; sisters and their spouses: Mabel (Truitt) Cox, Sylvia (William) McGoey, Shirley (Anthony) Gaschler; step-father: Emil Nantke; Sister-in-law: Vernice Cox; son-in-law: Louie Casamassa; great-granddaughter: PaGelica Racette Moua.
Funeral services for Percy will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. at the Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel (3212 S. Oneida Street, Menasha) with Rev. Daniel Thews officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
Special thanks to Dr. Misty Johnson and the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital for their compassionate care; and to Kelly Ann, Marie, and the staff at Theda-Care At Home Hospice for making Percy’s last days comfortable.
