Phillip Pharis, age 24, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017. He was born on June 29, 1993 to George Pharis III and April Potratz. Phillip was a commercial painter and always prided in his work. He was very easy going, funny, forgiving and an all-around great person. Phillip enjoyed poker nights with his friends, video games, frisby golf, and a good game of beer pong. His favorite place was his “bar stool” on hole 6 at O’Hauser Park. He valued his time with his family, friends, and dogs.
He is survived by his parents: George Pharis (fiancé Sandie Gouine) and April Potratz (fiancé Matthew Braam); siblings: Heather, George IV, Stormie, and Larry Pharis; step-siblings: Ashley, Matthew, Cassie, and Nicholas Braam; grandparents: Jay (Nancie) Potratz and Patricia Pharis; and numerous other relatives. He is further survived by friends: Mike LaMotte, Ethan Nelson, Krystal Sattler, Krista Zastrow, Alexa Ruhland, Jeremy Liethen, Sam Cotton, the Losse brothers and many many other great friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Mary Potratz and George Pharis II.
There will be a time of visitation from 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME-LAEMMRICH CHAPEL, 312 Milwaukee St. Menasha, 54952 with a service to follow at 6 p.m. To honor his love for frisbee golf, there will be a gathering on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at O’Hauser Park, 1986 Oleary Rd, Neenah, WI 54956 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Phillip’s name.
