PHILIP CHEEVER HUTCHINS

Age 86, peacefully died Thursday, June 28, 2001 at Colony Oaks. He was born September 28, 1914 to the late Erwin and Alzala (Cheever) Hutchins in New Lisbon, WI. Philip married the former Ethel Kelenhofer, his wife of sixty years on January 1, 1941 in Antigo, WI. He was a tailor for W. A. Close and Guyettes of Appleton until he retired at age 75. Philip was an usher at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife Ethel; his three children, Diane (Elmer) Dahl, Robert Hutchins, and Pam (Tom) Seeger; his three grandchildren, Brenda (Curt) Bundy, Edward (Rebecca) Hirnschall and Wayne Seeger; two great grandchildren Andrew and Nicole Bundy.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister, one niece and two grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 3, 2001 at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 E. Fremont Street, Appleton. Friends will be received at CHURCH on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial is planned in the Historic Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in his name.
The family would like to thank the Staff and CNA's at Colony Oaks for the care they gave to Philip.
