Peter J. Zwerg
Appleton
Age 65, went to his Eternal Home and met his Savior on Thursday May 31, 2007 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. Peter was born on June 14, 1941 in Superior, Wisconsin son of the late Robert and Eunice (Baldwin) Zwerg. He married Jo Ann Strader on August 12, 1961. Peter loved to cook, and he enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a very giving and generous person. He was employed at Riverside Paper for 41 years, retiring in 2003. Peter is survived by his former wife, Jo Ann, Appleton; his children, Kim (Andrew) Jansen, Kaukauna; Mark (Laurie) Zwerg, Menasha; a son in law, David Lambie, Menasha, his grandchildren; Matthew Malueg, Katie and Kayla Lambie, Samuel and Drew Jansen, Jacob and Joshua Zwerg. He is also survived by a twin sister, Pat (Keith) Laux, Neenah, nieces and nephews, Tom, Tim, Steve and Lisa. Peter is preceded in death by his daughter, Kari Lambie. The Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday June 5, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Fremont St., Appleton with Fr. Bob Karuhn officiating. There will be a memorial gathering in the Sacred Heart room at church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. A memorial is being established.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cherry Meadows for all of the loving care given to Peter.
