Age 54, died Friday morning, October 24, 2003, at Brewster Village, where he was a resident. He was born December 17, 1948, to Donald W. and Lorraine A. (Wilhelm) Theisen, formerly of Manitowoc, in Whitewater and was an Appleton resident for 51 years. Peter attended the Special Education Department of Morgan School, the Oshkosh School For The Deaf and graduated from Oshkosh West High School. He had been employed by Valley Packaging Industries, Inc., where he received a 30 year Achievement Award, for his dedicated service. Peter was an avid Packer Fan, enjoyed reading newspapers and doing puzzles. Even with his many physical disabilities he amazed people with what he was able to accomplish. Beside his parents, Peter is survived by his sister, Marcia A. Riley, Neenah and her children, Melissa and J. R. Riley; his brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey A. and Marcia C. Theisen, Appleton and their children, Andrew and Roslyn Theisen; his very special godmother, Dona (Joe) Brejcha, Milwaukee; and many many special friends. A memorial service for Peter will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 26, 2003 at Brewster Village Chapel, 3300 West Brewster Street, with Deacon Bill Burke officiating. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
