Perry Joseph Nadolney, 70, Menasha, passed away early Wednesday May 3, 2023, at Oak Park Place, Menasha. Perry was born June 17, 1952, son of Joseph and Ann (Suess) Nadolney. He worked many years at P.H. Glatfelter Paper until its closure, while at Glatfelter he attended school and became an industrial electrician. He then took his skills as an industrial electrician to Cellu/Clearwater.
Perry was always very active. He enjoyed skiing (skied the Birkebeiner six times), ran the Fox Cities Marathon, biked the country roads in Winnebago, Outagamie and Calumet counties, plus spending as much time as possible in the summer on the golf courses. Perry loved listening to music, composing and was a talented self taught musician playing piano, guitar and drums.
Perry is survived by his best friend and caregiver, Vicky, brother Roch, sisters Doris Kiefer, Paula Strong, and Marla (Norm Garden) Nadolney, 14 nieces and nephews and several grand nieces/nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 3 siblings: John Nadolney (infant), Alice (John) Maquire, and Daniel (Carol) Nadolney.
Perry appreciated and was very grateful for the compassion and assistance he received from his friends/caregivers, Kathy Bergholz and Curtis Dachelet, who really were there for him in the last two years.
The family would like to thank the staff at Oak Park Place for their compassion. Although his time there was brief, he made some great friends with residents and staff alike.
A memorial service for Perry has been planned for Monday May 15, 2023 at 2:00pm at Wichmann Funeral Home-Tri County Chapel, 1592 Oneida St, Menasha. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 1:00pm until the start of the service.
In lieu of flowers, Perry would appreciate a donation to Parkinson's research which was the terrible disease he battled for many years.
