Age 93, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2007 at Appleton Medical Center. Pearl was born on March 31, 1914 in Kaukauna to the late Peter and Katherine (Killian) Esler. On August 22, 1936 she married Fred Schultz at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna and they shared 53 years until he preceded her in death in 1990. Pearl and Fred operated a dairy farm for many years and Pearl worked part-time at many area restaurants throughout her career. She was a member of the Greenville Homemaker’s Club. Pearl enjoyed collecting business cards, traveling with her husband, and gardening.

She is survived by her close friends, Glenn and Janet Kelly, Greenville; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer and Arthur.

Funeral services for Pearl will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 6:00 P.M. at the Wichmann Funeral Home (537 North Superior Street). Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to help fund diabetes research.
