PEARL M. NOE

Age 84, died Tuesday, June 3, 2003, at ManorCare East, Green Bay. Pearl was born on July 1, 1918, in Beaver Dam, to the late Robert H. and Agnes (Panzer) Marvin. A year after her birth, Pearl’s parents moved to Eldorado, Wisconsin, where her father was the village blacksmith. During World War II Pearl worked in Chicago at the Army Finance Office and later she ran the Eldorado village grocery store. She married Harvey J. Noe on September 28, 1946. Pearl was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a longtime member of the Altar Guild at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Harvey; her son, Rick (Mary) Noe, of Green Bay; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Kevin) Haro, Katie Noe and Daniel Noe; her step-brother, Lyle (Eunice) Tabbert, Eldorado, Wisconsin; the wife of her cousin, Arlene Walters, Beaver Dam; and her step-brother-in-law, Quentin Davies, Eagle River. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert N. Marvin and her granddaughter, Victoria Ann. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2003, at BETHANY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 530 West Parkway Boulevard, Appleton, with Rev. Mark Henke officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again directly at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. A memorial has been established in her name. The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Jonathan Hagen and his staff, and the staff of 4 North at Appleton Medical Center, for their loving care.
