Pearl Rice was granted a comfortable finish to her 93 years of life on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Pearl was born in Wauwatosa on July 26, 1928, daughter of the late Otto and Gertrude Virgin. She married Kenneth Rice who preceded her in death. Pearl was a generous woman who was loved by all and will be missed by her family as welly as the residents at John Fisher Manor as well as Rennes Health and Rehab.
She is survived by two daughters: Vera (Buff) Springer and Beth (Tim) Rice; a step-son: Jeff (Marnie) Rice, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ken, her son Dan Beck, and several brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, located at 537 N. Superior Street in Appleton. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00.
