Pearl Koestner, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the Rennes Health Center in Appleton. Pearl was born in Chicago on September 10, 1926, daughter of the late Frank and Lydia (Scheffers) Fronson. On July 2, 1949, she married Robert Koestner, and together the couple lived in the Chicago area until relocating to Appleton in 1987. During those years, Pearl worked at a variety of business-related firms in the area.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years: Robert Koestner of Appleton; a daughter: Bonnie Koestner of Appleton; a son: Bruce (Laurie) Koestner of Appleton and their children Alison, Marty, and Evan; and a sister: Kay Reynolds of Vienna, Virginia.
A private memorial gathering for the family will be held at a later date. The family has suggested that memorial contributions be directed to the Salvation Army in Pearl’s name.
Pearl’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff of caregivers at Rennes Health Center. Your kindness, care, and compassion will never be forgotten. Thank you all so very much.
