Pauline “Bonnie” R. Collar, age 94, of Menasha, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center in Menasha. Bonnie was born on August 23, 1924 in Oshkosh, WI to the late Joseph and Noni (Koelbl) Schuster. She would be blessed with 7 wonderful boys, of whom she was extremely proud. Bonnie worked as a teacher, quality control manager, and a helper at the Fox Cities Children’s Museum. She enjoyed music and acting, being a long time member of both the Sweet Adelines and the Attic Theater.
Bonnie is survived by her sons, Bud (Kathy), Joseph (Mary), Chuck (Judy), Dominic (Nancy) and David (Special Friend, Kim); daughter-in-law, Mary Collar; grandchildren, Chris (Tammy), Aaron (Amy), Mollie (Aaron), Mandi (Special Friend, Joel), Katie, Jessica (Charlie), Nicholas, Brian, Matthew and Becky (Josh); 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous other dear relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Andrew and Christopher.
A funeral service will be held for Bonnie at 6 PM on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Wichmann Funeral Home- Laemmerich Chapel, 312 Milwaukee St., Menasha, WI 54952, with the Rev. Stephen Dietzler officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 3-7 PM. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Menasha on Monday, October 22.
