Paul L. Meulemans

Age 28, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 as the result of a motorcycle accident. Paul was born in Kaukauna on January 15, 1976, son of the late Vernon Meulemans and Virgie (Killian) Meulemans of Kaukauna. A 1994 graduate of Kaukauna High School, Paul had worked for several years for Warehouse Specialists in Neenah. For about the last year, he had been driving truck for Ferrell Gas. Everyone will remember Paul for his love of skiing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, attending auto shows, and especially for working on his classic cars. Paul had a true zest for life, and always had a positive outlook at attitude. His nieces and nephews were a source of great fun and enjoyment to him over the years – they will all miss him very much.

Other survivors include his mother: Virgie Meulemans of Kaukauna; his fiancée: Betsy Sprister of Kaukauna; three sisters: Joan (Dan) Hietpas of Mackville; Ann (Henry) Heiman of Kaukauna and their children Emily, Jacob, and Erin; Mary (Jeff) Girard of Black Creek and their children Matthew, Nicholas, and Alex; four brothers: Peter (Julie) Meulemans of Kaukauna and their children Adam and Rachel; John (Pat) Meulemans of Kaukauna and their children Michelle, Curt, and Becky; Joe (Sandy) Meulemans of Appleton and their children Taylor and Evan; Jim (Deb) Meulemans of Kaukauna and their children Robyn, Sarah, Dawn, and Justin. Paul is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Meulemans in 1991.

NEW FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

The funeral liturgy for Paul will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 28, 2004 at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 119 W. Seventh Street in Kaukauna with Fr. Robert Udulutsch, OFM, Cap. and Fr. David Schmidt officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 – 8 PM and again Saturday at the church from 9:30 AM until the hour of the service. There will be a parish prayer and scripture service at the funeral home at 7:30 PM Friday.
