Paul Bergner, 59, of Neenah passed away at home.
Paul Bergner was the quintessential independent spirit. He travelled the region extensively, most often alone. In his solitary exploits, he found ample inspiration and companionship in his own thoughts, dreams and adventures. Always challenging his own limits, he became an avid kayaker, bicyclist and student of life during his retirement years. When he visited with his family, he was generous, caring and will be fondly remembered for a quick, dry wit and a great story to share.
Paul was employed at Kimberly-Clark's Development Facility in Neenah for over 25 years.
Paul is survived by a daughter, Holly (Ryan) Boselie, two grandchildren; Sydney and Braylon, a brother, Bruce (Kim) Bergner, a sister, Laurie (Dan) Neunaber, nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Paul's wishes the family will have a private service. A memorial fund is being established in Paul's name. The family would like to thank the Neenah Police department and his neighbors for all their care and help at this difficult time.
