Paul C. Beck, 79, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024. He was born on January 27, 1945, in Manawa, the son of George and Esther (Deckert) Beck. Paul was united in marriage to Janet Rodgers on June 8, 1985, at Smith Park, Menasha. Together they owned Beck’s Home Plate in Menasha for 25 years. Paul enjoyed fishing, woodworking, animals, listening to Johnny Cash, enjoying a good prime rib, and a cocktail every now and then. He was a good golfer with a hole-in-one at Winagamie Golf Course, his love of rooting on the Packers, shooting darts, doing bar tricks with puzzles and cards, and Chinese puzzles. Paul will be remembered most as having a big heart and being willing to drop anything to help someone else out.
Paul is survived by his wife of 39 years, Janet; son: Michael (Destiny) Beck; step-daughter: Karlene (Adam) Wilson; grandchildren: Brad, Kila, Ayden, Neonna, and Makenzie; a brother: Duncan (Bernice) Beck; two sisters: Joan (Dave) Arndt and Judy (Jim) Yaeger; mother-in-law: Margaret Rodgers; other relatives and friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, and his father-in-law: Raymond Rodgers.
In accordance with Paul’s wishes, no services will be held. A celebration of life will be held in the fall.
