Patrick Kevin Burns
Age 58, passed away on Friday April 11, 2008 due to complications of his life long struggle with hemophilia. Patrick was born on December 12, 1949 in Milwaukee son of Robert and Virginia (Moore) Burns. Patrick grew up and lived in the Fox Cities area, and most recently lived in Waupaca. He had a love of music, gardening, and woodworking. Patrick had a fun loving spirit. He is survived by his beloved sons, Robert “Bobby” and Padraic “Paddy” of Waupaca; his father, Dr. Robert Burns of Kimberly; his sisters, Honor (Tom) Greenwald of Lake Geneva; Tom of Waupaca; Katie (Ed) Bekx of Kimberly; Maggie (Mark) Schweke of Manitowoc. He is also survived by his sons' mother, Val DaWalt of Waupaca, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, and brother, Mike. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday April 18, 2008 at ST. PATRICK CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7815 St. Patrick Church Rd., Askeaton, with Fr. Allen A. Geiser officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. A memorial is being established.
