Patricia Alice Van Ooyen

Patricia A. Van Ooyen (Wienandt) passed away on March 3, 2022. She was born on July 25, 1949, in Wausau, Wisconsin, to Butch and Florence Wienandt. She married Charles Van Ooyen Sr. on July 26, 1969.

Patricia enjoyed puzzles, trout fishing, watching sports, and camping. She liked to spend her time at the dirt stock car races, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved a good conversation full of laughter.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Butch and Florence Wienandt; Toddy and Carl Nickels; sisters, Kathy Jahnke and Peggy Reab; brother, Dave Wienandt; nephew, Eric Wienandt; Dawn and Smokey Van Ooyen. Joseph Van Ooyen, Kasey Van Ooyen, and Patrick Rum.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Van Ooyen Sr; children and their families, Jamie (Nicole) Van Ooyen, Nate and Mallory, Charles Jr (Rhonda) Van Ooyen Jr, Ericka and Kegan, Shawn (Janel) Van Ooyen, Marissa and Kyra, Misty (Brandon) Czarapata, Alexis and Michael; siblings, Rod (Julie) Wienandt, Randy (Dolores) Wienandt, and Bonnie Fox; brother in law, Jay Jahnke, Steve Reab, and Don (Shari) Van Ooyen; and sister in law, Sue Wienandt and Amy Van Ooyen.

There will be a celebration of life for Patricia at a later date, and her final resting place will be Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
