Patricia Ruth (Manning) Pohlman

Menasha – Patricia R. Pohlman, age 67, passed away on June 16, 2018, in her home after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Pat was born April 20, 1951, in Sheboygan, the daughter of Arthur Lee and Phyllis Ann (Schroeder) Manning.

Pat graduated from Menasha High School in 1969. In May 1971, she enlisted into the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. During her enlistment, she continued her education at Los Angeles Community College (in the Republic of the Philippines). After receiving an Honorable Discharge as a Sergeant in October of 1975, she enrolled in specialized business courses at Fox Valley Technical College, Appleton, which enabled her employment in the fields of Real Estate Broker, Apartment Property Manager, Administrative Assistant for a CPA firm, and Administrative Secretary for a commercial real estate firm.

Pat enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and playing with her 5-year-old grandson Miles Puyleart. She loved crocheting afghans, party planning, golf, fishing, and diving in swim meets at the Jefferson Park pool, Menasha.

Pat is survived by her daughter: Tricia (Jason) Puyleart; grandson: Miles Puyleart; mother: Phyllis Manning; brother: Jeffry (fiancé Darlene Flynn) Manning; sister: Nancy (Manning) Schroeder, Pamela (Mark) (Manning) Jentz; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of many friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her father; brother: Bruce Wayne Manning; and brother-in-law: Larry Lee Schroeder. She touched the hearts of many and she will be dearly missed.

The funeral will be held at 6:00 pm, on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri-County Chapel, 1592 Oneida St., Menasha, with Chaplain Cliff Mast officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Disabled American Veterans.

The family would like to thank the Hospice Team, AdvoCare, and the American Veterans Association for all their help and prayers. A special thank you to Pat’s Hospice Nurse, Jenni Doris. Thank you for all the care you gave Pat and for being there to help the rest of family get through this time of sorrow.
