Patricia "Pat" Bruss

Patricia A. “Pat” Bruss, 74, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2015 with her family by her side. Pat was born on June 22, 1940 in Appleton to Arnold Gartzke and Pearl (Spielbauer) Gartzke. She was a graduate of Appleton West High School. She was employed in the Health Care field most of her career, working in Medical Records. Pat was a gift to everyone who knew her. Her family was very important to her and she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, knitting and crocheting as well as traveling. She was a very strong person who lived with grace and dignity.

Pat will be sadly missed by her husband Ozzie, her children: Bret (special friend Jane Nelson) Bohlen; Bart (Kelley) Bohlen; David (Sue) Bohlen; Kelle (Terry) Manley; Lisa Bohlen; Sarah (Jason) Kamp; Sandee (Chris) Forster; Jennifer (Patrick) Schommer; Ozzie's children: Kelly (Jim) Skenandore; Todd Bruss; Patrick (Jennifer) Bruss; 31 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sandy Matheys; daughter-in-law Sandy Bruss.

The family would like to thank the staff at Matthews of Neenah as well as the staff and nurses with St. Elizabeth Hospital Cancer Center for the awesome care given to Pat.
