Pawer, Patricia (Neil)

Age 73 of Appleton passed away unexpectedly with her family by her side on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on February 13, 1932 in Elgin, Illinois. The daughter of the late Joseph and Vylia (Simmons) Neil. On December 21, 1952 she married Donald B. Pawer in Elgin, IL. In 1953 she graduated from Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Arts. Pat and Don settled in Appleton where they raised their family. Pat was a long time member of First English Lutheran Church, an accomplished pianist, an avid reader, played the piano at Peabody Manor, and enjoyed spending time with her book club, bridge club, basketball gang and many other friends. More than anything, Pat loved caring for and spending time with her husband, four daughters, and three grandchildren.
Pat will be deeply missed by her loving and devoted husband of over 52 years Donald; four daughters Vicki (Terry) Brennan Parrish, FL, Terri (Bill) Todhunter Appleton, WI, Donna (Jim) Ernst Appleton WI, Carol (Edward) Sanders Fremont, WI; three grandchildren Kristen, Keri and Michael Ernst; brother and sister-in-law Joseph (Carol) Neil, Newport RI; sister-in-law Eyvonne (Pawer) Geise Brookfield, WI; Dr. James and Renate Campbell Beaver Dam, WI, many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, and her golden retriever Allie.
Pat was preceded in death by her mother and father; brother and sister-in-law Del and Jeanne Neil; very special grandmas Simmons and Neil; brothers-in-law Jacob Pawer and David Geise.
A visitation will be held on Friday from 4-7 PM at the Wichmann Tri-County Chapel . A private family funeral service will be held at a later time. The family wishes that any donations be made to the charity of your choice in Pat's honor.
