Patricia Mae Schell

Age 71, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at the Appleton Medical Center. Pat was born in Kaukauna on November 10, 1930, the daughter of the late William and Lydia (Leichtle) Ranquette. On August 23, 1947, Pat married Leroy ''Bud'' Schell in Kaukauna; he preceded her in death on July 14, 2001.

Pat devoted most of her life loving and caring for her children and grandchildren and will be missed greatly by all of them. We know as she joins Bud in heaven she will continue to love and watch over each and every one of them.

Pat is survived by her ten children: Sheila (Bob) Pflanzer of Ashland, Bill (Linda) Schell of Kaukauna, Tom (Karen) Schell of Omro, Barb Schell of Oshkosh,and her special friend Bill Campell, Steve Schell, Nancy (Dennis) Tomko of Athelstane, Dan (Jenny) Schell of Sherwood, Tim Schell of Kaukauna, Jill Schell of Kaukauna and her special friend Jeff Herb, and Mary (Jody) Frederickson of Kaukauna; twenty grandchildren: Jaime Pflanzer, Amy (Bruce) Frommader, Chris Pflanzer, John (Linda) Schell, Brian (Erin) Schell, Beverly Schell, Shane Schmidt, Brad Dain, Brooke Dain, Lydia Van Schyndel, Jason Schell, Marcus, Pauline, and Hailey Schell, Chad and Emily Wachel, and Josh, Jesse, and Kylie Frederickson; eighteen great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law: James ''Punk'' Schell of Kaukauna, Marv (Julie) Hooyman of Arizona, Chuck (Kathy) Schell of Utah and Mike Schell of Ellison Bay; two sisters-in-law: Joan (John) Hart of Appleton and Carol Mraz of Algoma.

Pat is further survived by two special nieces: Julie (Duane) Paalman and Sue (Dan) Coffey, as well as by other relatives and friends. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother Willie Ranquette and a grandson Ian Pflanzer.

The funeral liturgy for Pat will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 31, 2002 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna with Fr. Jim Lucas officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5 – 8 PM and again at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the hour of the liturgy. There will be a parish scripture service at 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the dialysis staff at Fresenius Medical Care and to the staff at Appleton Medical Center. You all treated mom as though she was your very own. Thank you so much.
