Patricia M. Lambie

March 17, 1916 — May 25, 2001

Age 85, passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, May 25, 2001. Pat was born in Little Chute on March 17, 1916, daughter of the late Henry Oudenhoven and Anna Verstegen Williamsen Oudenhoven. On September 19, 1940 she married Eugene Lambie in Oneida. Gene preceded Pat in death on April 26, 2000. Pat will be remembered by all as a very active woman who always had a twinkle in her eye. She enjoyed fishing and spending time at the trailer on Loon Lake, bowling, sewing, gardening, and making Christmas ornaments for her family. She was also an avid golfer in her younger years, and was always proud to say that she made a hole in one on number three at Mid Vallee Golf Course! Pat was a founding member of the Honeycomb Homemakers group in Kaukauna, and she and Gene also helped to form a local 4-H club. Pat was a longtime and faithful member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, and enjoyed singing in the Queen of Peace Choir there. Her greatest joys in life came from spending time with her family and loved ones. She very much treasured each and every one of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was looking forward to the upcoming births of two additional great-grandchildren later this year.

She is survived by her four children: Linda (Dick) Tousey of Little Chute and their children Michael (LuAnne) Tousey, Richard “Bucky” (Janice) Tousey, Jill (Jerry) Burgbacher, and Tara (Matt) Fritsch; Bob (Joy) Lambie of Roswell, Georgia and their children Corey (Joanne) Lambie, Cristy (Steve) Hotz, Greg (Emily) Lambie, and Stephen Lambie; Donna (Larry) Ulrich of Kaukauna and their children Tia-Marie Ulrich and Ryun Ulrich; Ric (Sherrie) Lambie of Douglasville, Georgia and their children Jesse and Joshua Lambie; eight great-grandchildren: Nic Tousey, Ian and Delaney Tousey, Austin and Jacob Fritsch, John Karl Lambie, Hanna Hotz, and Donita Lambie; six step-great-grandchildren: Sam and Shayna Chartier, Jeremy, Jayme, Joy, and Jill Burgbacher; a step-great-great-granddaughter Lydia Rose Albrecht. She is further survived by four sisters-in-law: Angeline Williamsen of Appleton, Josephine Oudenhoven of Oneida, Ruth Oudenhoven of DePere, and Irma (Earl) Lintner of Chilton. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gene in 2000, by a sister Marguerite (John) Van Den Berg, and by brothers Henry Williamsen, Herbert (Dorothy) Oudenhoven, Alois (Helen) Oudenhoven, Paul Oudenhoven, and Robert Oudenhoven.

The funeral liturgy for Pat will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna with Fr. Jim Lucas officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 – 8 PM and again on Wednesday at the church from 10 AM until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial fund in Pat’s name.

Dear Mom,

Although it breaks our hearts to lose you, we know that you were always happiest when Dad was at your side. Together again, you can enjoy each other’s love and friendship. We will miss you dearly, and will always, always love both of you.

-Linda, Bob, Donna, and Ric
