Age 72, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday afternoon, May 20, 2007 at Appleton Medical Center. Patsy was born on April 14, 1935 in Milwaukee to the late Andrew J. and Lucille F. (Sokolowicz) Jeka. She was a 1953 graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Milwaukee. On June 11, 1955 she married Donald J. Ehlert at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Milwaukee, and they shared 54 wonderful years until he preceded her in death in 2000. She was a faithful woman and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. In addition to loving her family, Patsy enjoyed reading, knitting, and flower gardening. She will always be revered for her excellent cooking and baking.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Pamela Ehlert, Appleton, Judy Quinnell, Wisconsin Rapids, Elizabeth Ehlert, Appleton; grandchildren: Joe Quinnell, Kansas, Billy, Quinn, and Danny Quinnell, Wisconsin Rapids; and a pet bunny, Beethoven. In addition to her parents and her loving husband, Donnie, she was preceded in death by her children: Kathleen and Christopher; and her brother, Clarence.

Funeral mass for Patricia will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at St. Mary Catholic Church (312 South State Street) with Father Bob Lexa officiating. Friends may call on the family at church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the mass. Interment will be in the Wisconsin Veteran’s Cemetery at King.
