Patricia L. Kramer

Patricia “Patty” Lou Kramer (Hooyman) age 79 of New London, WI joined her heavenly kingdom on July 27, 2023.  The daughter of Mason Stovell and Lucille Ambler and adopted daughter of Arthur and Gladys (Little) Hooyman, she was born on April 23, 1944 in Illinois.  Patricia attended Freedom High School.  She married the love of her life, Raymond Kramer in October of 1966 and together, they lovingly raised 5 wonderful children. 

Patty was a woman with a heart of gold – a woman who would do anything for anyone if they needed it.  She was a devoted Catholic for all of her life and belonged to St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom, WI.  She loved watching the rodeo, solving word search puzzles, and cooking for her family.  More than anything, though, Patty loved and cherished her kids, her grandkids, and everyone in her family.  She was so proud of everyone she raised. 

Patty is survived by her children, Raymond “Toby”, Rick (Heidi), Timothy, and Jennifer; her grandchildren, Rickey, Riley, and Orlando; her daughter Susan’s significant other, Danny; her siblings, Joyce, Dennis, Karen, Guy, James, and Tom; her adopted siblings, Mike and Bonnie; her special friend, Judy Roberts who was by Patty’s side right to the end; as well as many other nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.

Patty is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her daughter, Susan; her step-granddaughter, Kayla; her siblings, Daniel and Gerilyn; her adopted siblings, Don and Cathy; her adopted parents, Arthur and Gladys; her birth parents, Mason and Lucille; her father and mother in law, Edwin and Clara; and several siblings-in-law. 

A funeral visitation will be held for Patty from 9-11 AM on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave, Kaukauna, WI 54130 with a funeral service to follow at 11 AM.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Nicholas Church Cemetery in Freedom, WI.  Patty loved daisies, so please send daisies (not roses) for any floral arrangements. 

Patty’s family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah for all their care and compassion they provided to Patty.
