Pat Koch, age 88, passed away Friday morning, September 7, 2007, at Parkside Care Center in Little Chute. Pat was born in Mankato, Minnesota on October 25, 1918, daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Kaufman) Kiffe. On July 1, 1944, she married Jerome “Totsy” Koch in Kaukauna; he preceded her in death in 1992. She was an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed making clothes for her family. She also crocheted many afghans and other items for her friends and loved ones. An excellent homemaker, Pat will also be remembered for her cooking and baking.
Pat is survived by three children: Mary (Dennis) Babb of Appleton; Joan Koch of Kaukauna; and John Koch of Carrollton, Texas; three grandchildren: Haley, Amanda, and Travis Koch, of Texas; sisters-in-law: Margaret Kiffe, Leah Koch; and two brothers-in-law: Paul Koch and Bob Koch. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerome; fourteen brothers and sisters: Alois (Josephine) Kiffe, Leone (John) Linskens, Marcella “Delle” (Frank) Huss, Cecelia “Cet” (Clarence) Huss, Clayton “Toby” (Eunice) (Vi) Kiffe, Margaret (John) Kimball, Kenneth Kiffe, Harold “Ony” (Ardyth) Kiffe, Clarence (Gloria) Kiffe, Theodosia “Dote” (James) Verhagen, Flavia “Flave” (James Belling) (James) Nagel, Richard (Frances) Kiffe, Ronald Kiffe; and Claire (Ben) Dercks; a brother-in-law Clarence “Bud” Koch; and a sister-in-law Mary Gossens.
The funeral liturgy for Patricia will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, September 10, 2007 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH – ST. MARY’S SITE in Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the entire staff at Parkside Care Center. Their care and concern for our mother will always be remembered and appreciated.
