Patricia C. "Pat" Boushley

Patricia C. “Pat” Boushley, age 89, of Appleton, passed away on May 26, 2021 at a local hospital. Pat was born on July 12, 1931 in Weyauwega to the late Victor and Jessie (Wolcott) Anthony, Sr. She was a graduate of Weyauwega High School. After high school, she was united in marriage to Reuben J. Boushley on August 6, 1949 and he preceded her in death in May, 1981. She was a longtime employee of AAL, now Thrivent Financial. She also worked a short time at Fox Tractor.

Pat loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, Family was everything to her. She enjoyed baking and cooking and was a fantastic cook. She enjoyed horseback riding and belonged to a horseback riding club in Chilton. She also enjoyed sewing and re-upholstering furniture.

She was a longtime and active member at Faith Lutheran Church in Appleton.

She will be sadly missed by Debra (William) Rice of Appleton, and Denise (Christopher) Brandt of Appleton, grandchildren: Christopher (Laura) Nissen, Jennifer (sp. Friend April) Nissen, David (Linda) Nissen, Patrick (Melissa) Nissen, Jason Rice and Tim Rice, Angelia Carmack and Stephanie Boushley, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, siblings, Bud (Lorelei) Anthony, Victor (Christine) Anthony, Jr. and Rosalie Bednar, as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Reuben Boushley, and two sons Doug Boushley and David Boushley and a special friend Clarence Pethan.

Funeral Services for Pat will be on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 11:30am at Faith Lutheran Church of Appleton, 601 East Glendale Avenue in Appleton. There will be a visitation on Tuesday morning from 9:30am to 11:30am at the church. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established with donations being forwarded to Faith Lutheran Church Radio Ministry.
