Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at St. Paul Home. Patricia “Pat” Frank Kloehn was born June 29, 1935, daughter of the late Melbourne “Boze” and Dorothy (Jansen) Frank. Pat was baptized, confirmed and married at Holy Cross Church, Kaukauna. She married the late Lloyd S. Kloehn on June 23, 1956. Together they had five children, 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Pat grew up on the “Marsh” in Kaukauna and her childhood was filled with fun and adventure. She graduated from Kaukauna High School. Pat and her sister Lois tumbled and danced their way through the early years, performing in dance competitions and recitals. Together they taught tap, tumbling and dance lessons for 25 years for the Kaukauna Recreation Department. Pat was also a talented baton twirler and the drum majorette for the Kaukauna High School Band.
Pat was a true homemaker, wife and mother and raising her five children was her primary focus. She taught her children to be honest, hardworking and to treat other people with respect. Later she worked for the Kaukauna Area School District as a special education paraprofessional, where she treated all children with kindness and love.
Pat enjoyed traveling with her late husband Lloyd, dancing, baking, knitting, sewing, fishing, boat rides and going “up north”. She especially enjoyed her time with her family and her 15 grandchildren. She was present at her grandchildren’s concerts and sporting events….always wearing their team colors and beaming with pride. She had an adventurous spirit, a kind heart and the desire to listen and offer support.
Pat will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered. She is survived by her children; Kurt (Tina) Kloehn, Little Chute, WI; Kerri (Ken) Schmidt, Rhinelander, WI; Kelly (Cary) Meyer, Appleton, WI; Kris (Darrell) Neumann, Chandler, AZ; Kyle (Britt) Kloehn, Oregon, WI; her grandchildren; Casey (Sarah) Kloehn; Sadie (Chris) Hunsberger; Taylor (Amy) Kloehn; Annie (David) Schepp; Adam Schmidt; Jacob (Hallie) Schmidt; Jordan (Katrina) Schmidt; Nathan (Sadie) Schmidt; Lucas (Nicole) Meyer; Nicholas (Meghan) Meyer; Tera (Kirsten) Neumann, Ethan (Danielle) Neumann, Kyle Neumann; Kaelen and Trevor Kloehn.

Mom’s faith was strong as her nightly ritual for many years was to pray the rosary while following along listening with her CD player and headset in bed. She is now reunited with her loving husband Lloyd.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Staff and Caregivers at St. Paul Elder Services in Kaukauna. A special thank you to Sr. Delores, and the nursing and hospice staff. Mom was cared for with compassion and dignity by the health care staff and volunteers. A special thank you to Dr. Greg Johnson who cared for her for many years.
