Patricia is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and a very special “grandchild”, Danielle. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother Tom Wilfling, a brother-in-law Frank Vander Heiden, and a sister-in-law Yvonne Vander Heiden.
Funeral services for Pat will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2006, at GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2220 East College Avenue, with Revs. Martin E. Koeller and Timothy Seabaugh officiating. Interment will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, and again from 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society or to the Childrens’ Hospital of Wisconsin, Fox Valley.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to everyone at Franciscan Care Center, especially the caregivers on Unit 4. You made Mom’s stay as comfortable as possible and treated her as though she was your own. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
