Age 75, died on Thursday May 24, 2008 at Appleton Medical Center. Patricia was born on April 13, 1933 in Milwaukee daughter of the late Walter and Angeline (Chmielewski) Swiertz. She married Lyle McGlin in 1950. Patricia was a Surgical Secretary at Appleton Medical Center retiring after 35 years. Survivors include her children Kathleen (Rick Nickasch) Berholtz, Appleton; Jeannette (Jeff) Zabel, Weyauwega; her grandchildren, Michelle Peterson-VerBruggen (Jerry), John Berholtz III, Shane and Tara Zabel; great grandchildren, Kody Peterson and Trent Zabel. Patricia is also survived by her sister, Barbara (Donald) Bungert, Hortonville; her brothers, Tom (Nancy) Swiertz, Wild Rose; James (Judy) Swiertz, Arizona; Peter (Lynn) Swiertz, Menasha; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Patricia Swiertz, Linda Swiertz, Don and Verna McGlin, and Mary Jane McGlin, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lyle, brothers, Walter Jr., Lawrence, Charles, Michael and Julius, and sisters, Susie, and Kathy.

Funeral services for Patricia will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday May 29, 2008 at the funeral home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton. A memorial is being established.
