Age 84, died on Friday, March 30, 2001, at Rennes Health Center, Appleton, with her family and pastor at her side. Olive was born on May 6, 1916, in Appleton, to the late Emory and Lillian (Bleick) Meltz. She married Arnold Schroeder on June 21, 1941, in Greenville; he preceded her in death on September 12, 1977. Olive was an active member of many organizations. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Jerry) Coenen, Greenville; her son, Keith (Cheryl) Schroeder, Pasadena, California; her daughter, Geniel (Bob) McHugh, Stephensville; her daughter, Doris (Francis) Van Camp, Stephensville; her grandchildren: Deborah (John) Schlimm; Wendy (John) Hardy; Dawn (Tom) Ziegler; Branden Schroeder; Kimberly Schroeder; Lisa Baehman; Chuck (Sharon) Baehman; Jill Van Camp; Troy Van Camp; and Craig Van Camp; her great grandchildren, Shannon, Chasity and Caleb Schlimm; Wesley Hardy; Jennie, Ashley and Mitchell Ziegler; Zachery, Brianna, Savanna and Jake Baehman; and her great great granddaughter, Jaliana Ziegler; her sisters, Verdaine Weber, Appleton; and Lillian (Jack) Renner, Neenah; nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kermit Meltz; her brother-in-law, Walter Weber; and her sister-in-law, Marilyn Meltz. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2001, at IMMANUEL EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, School and Julius Roads, Greenville, with Rev. David Hussman officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton, on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Tuesday directly at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. A memorial has been established in her name. Olive’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Rennes Health Care for the support and care given to Mom and us during her courageous battle; and a sincere thank you to the staff at Greenville Manor.
