“Norm”

Age 69, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2001 at St. Elizabeth Hospital following complications of a heart attack. He was born on August 11, 1931 in Appleton the son of the late Wilford and Retta (Loos) Immel. Norm graduated from Hortonville High School in 1949, he served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, and was employed by Badger Northland in Kaukauna and Algoma where he was in charge of the production of garden tractors and snowmobiles. Norm was a faithful member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, and was especially proud of his garden.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie (Schultz) Immel of Appleton, their children and grandchildren Daniel (Stephanie) Immel and Katherine and Mason Boone; Diane (Daniel) Ciske and Adam and Rachel; and James (Sherri) Immel all of Appleton; his brother Glenn (Ann) Immel of Kaukauna; and his former wife Mary Immel of New London. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Carole Mae Immel in infancy.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 27, 2001 at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, 129 South Mason Street in Appleton with the Rev. David Pagel and Vicar Joe Christina officiating. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 PM, and on Friday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
