Age 90, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at Living Tree Estates with his family at his bedside. Norm was born on August 22, 1916 to the late Henry and Elsie (Adam) Felauer. He was employed by Ray’s tire of Appleton and Thilmany Pulp and Paper of Kaukauna, retiring in 1976. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club at Thilmany’s. Norm loved helping his son farm in Hortonville, playing sheephead, hunting deer, rabbits, pheasants and fishing with his grandsons. He shot his last buck at the age of 83. Grandpa loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, telling "snake stories." Norm will be remembered for always being the "life of the party."

Norm is survived by his wife Norma; three sons: Gerald (Connie) Felauer of Appleton and their two sons: Jeff (Tammy) Felauer (great-grandchildren Samuel, Madeline, and Estelle) and Matt (Michelle) Felauer (great-granddaughters Sylvia, Evelyn, and Violet); and Edward (Bonnie) Felauer of Hortonville and their four daughters: Lynn (Steve) Greger, Ann Felauer, Lisa (Doug) Earll (great-grandsons Justin, Mitchell, and Brandon), and Amy (Mark) Bedard (great-grandchild Baby Bedard on the way); and David (Nancy) Felauer of Prescott Valley, AZ. Norm is also survived by two half-sisters, Monica (Lionel) Arnold and Donna (LaVerne) Mullen. Norm was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and brother-in-law Florence and Oscar “Bud” Loos, and a half-sister Francis Stammer Kelly.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N. Richmond St, Appleton, with Rev. Ralph Waack officiating. Friends will be received at Highland from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.

A special thanks to Amy Bedard, Lisa Earll, and Bonnie Felauer for their love and devotion to Grandpa over the last several years.
