LeClerc, Norma Radloff
Norma Radloff LeClerc, age 95, died Thursday morning, August 24, 2006, at Manor Care Health Care Center. She was born December 24, 1910, to the late Robert and Hattie (Engel) Radloff, in the Town of Corning, Lincoln County, Wisconsin, the oldest of 13 children. Norma grew up on her grandparent’s farm near Merrill and helped to raise her younger siblings. The family moved to Merrill when Norma was 11 years old. In 1934 she moved for jobs in the Chicago area, and met and married her husband Fred J. LeClerc, August 2, 1941. Their daughter Joan was born while they were residents of Chicago. In 1976 Fred and Norma moved to Appleton for retirement. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Joan Marie LeClerc, Appleton; three sisters, Viola Zich, Merrill; Evelyn Winetski, Appleton; Luann (Robert) Robins, Rhinelander; a brother, Leslie (Grayce) Radloff, Merrill; and many many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred J. LeClerc, June 19, 1980, three sisters and five brothers. Funeral services for Norma will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, August 28, 2006, at FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, corner of Drew and Franklin Streets, with Reverend Bruce Bartel and Reverend David Brice officiating. Burial will be in Appleton Highland. Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 pm, Sunday and at the church on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Memorial funds have been established for First United Methodist Church and Habitat for Humanity.
