Norma L. Winter
Appleton

Norma L. Winter passed away early May 10, 2003 at Rennes Health Center. A loving wife and mother, Norma was born June 15, 1915, in Beaver Dam the daughter of the late Rudolph and Elisa (Eggert) Young. We know she is at peace and happy to join the love of her life and partner of 55 years, Rollie.
Norma leaves behind her three children, Diane (Donald) Kraft, Peoria, Arizona; Steve (Teri) Winter, Appleton; Mark (Renee) Winter, Appleton. Norma had eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by special friends and niece, Nancy and Marty Hintz, who she spent countless enjoyable hours playing cribbage. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollie in 1998 and her sister, Viola.
Norma’s life long vocation was a wife and mother. She was a stay-at-home Mom, who devoted her life to caring for her husband and children. We all have wonderful memories of her cooking talents, arranging family vacations and caring for us. She was a quiet, unassuming, intelligent woman. She loved spending winters in Florida every year with Rollie and was an avid reader, reading nearly 4,000 books over the last 22 years.
At Norma’s request, private family services will be held.

Our family would like to express appreciation to Dr. Whiteside and Rennes Health Center and it’s staff for the care of our mother, Norma, during her brief stay, especially Cat.
