Age 87, died Sunday, July 27, 2003 at the Appleton Medical Center. Nick was born in Kenosha on September 10, 1915, son of the late Frank and Rosa (Pavlic) Sebetic. After high school, he served his country as a corporal in the United States Army during World War II. He was employed by Consolidated Papers InterLake Mill in Appleton for many years, retiring in the late 1970’s. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle, who along with his sister Barbara worked together as a team to take care of their parents, siblings, and eventually each other. Over the years, he enjoyed attending family celebrations from the holidays to numerous birthday parties. Nickolas enjoyed walks and afternoon drives exploring the sites of Wisconsin with Barbara. He was a man of great wisdom and was a true artist – his carvings of animals and caricatures adorn their home along with beautiful pieces of hand made furniture.
Nick is survived by his sister: Barbara Sebetic of Appleton; a nephew: Richard Cotter of Appleton; two nieces: Mary (Emil) Fritz of Appleton and Wanda (Allen) Fischer of Darboy; three great-nephews: Jason Lindsley, Scott Fischer, and Bryan Fritz; five great-nieces: Wendy (Dan) Theobald, Stephanie Lindsley, Jessica Fritz, Sara Fritz, and Megan Fritz. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Rosa Sebetic, sisters: Anna Sebetic, Mary Sebetic, Theresa (Ralph) Cotter, an infant sister, and a special “sister” Evelyn Cotter; and a great nephew Benjamin Lindsley.
