Nancy A. Neuman

Nancy Ann Neuman, age 91, of Appleton, passed away on February 22, 2023 at her home. Nancy was born on July 15, 1931 in Neenah, WI to the late Clyde and Margaret (Schultz) Bunker. She was a graduate of St. Mary High School of Neenah in 1949. On October 11, 1952 she married Florian Neuman at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Menasha and he preceded her in death on January 28, 2005. She was a former employee of Marathon Corporation where she met her husband. After she married and started her family, she worked at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart in Iowa for over 20 years as church secretary. She also worked at St. Margaret-Mary Catholic Church in Neenah and volunteered at Sacred Heart Catholic Church typing bulletins.

She enjoyed cross-stitch and crossword puzzles and especially loved dogs. She was lucky to have many wonderful companions over the years.

Survivors include her daughter: Barb (David) DeGard of Appleton and their daughters Margaret (Eric) Heather and Elizabeth (Jordan) Stumbris; great-grandchildren Adalynn, Ambriellah and Kingston; a sister Barbara (Norm) Bauman and Susan Fredericks: as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Florian as well as her siblings Dick, Norm “Bud”, Marion, and Janet.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday March 1, 2023 (TODAY) at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church of Menasha at 324 Nicolet Boulevard with Fr. Judah Pigon officiating. There will be a visitation before the Mass at the church from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Appleton Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
