Nancy L. Jorstad

Nancy L. Jorstad, age 78, of Menasha, passed away at her home on Monday, June 22, 2015. Nancy was born on July 29, 1936, in Madison, to the late Emerson and Leone (Temmer) Ace. Her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant continued until she was 70 years old, when she retired from the The Heritage after 14 years of service. Nancy enjoyed camping Up North and was a member of the VFW Harvey Pierre Post #2778 Auxiliary. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother for many families.

Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Ken Jorstad; her children, James Heimerman, Appleton; Julie Heimerman, Appleton; Janet (Tom) Washatka, Oshkosh; Joan Schultz (special friend, Joe Acevedo), New London; Jill Oertel (fiancé Rick Heimbruch), New London; and Jennifer (John) Leisner, Appleton; a special family friend, Joseph W. Lamers; her grandchildren, Amanda Heimerman; Tony, Jolene and Trevor Schultz; Jason and Adam Oertel; and Jack and Jed Leisner; Ken's children and their children, Brian (Jan) Jorstad, Kaukauna; Sean Jorstad, Neenah; Jessie (Rome) Soto, Shawno; and Katie (Andy) Hietpas, Kaukauna; and her brother Michael (Pam) Ace, Appleton. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Travis Schultz.

The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 Fremont Street, Appleton, with Fr. Brian Wideman officiating. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street, Appleton, on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again directly at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. There will be a Bible Vigil at the funeral home on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
