Nancy Lee Kuebler

Nancy Lee-Kuebler, age 92 of Appleton, passed away on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024, at The Heritage. She was born on July 21, 1932, in Appleton, Wisconsin, the daughter of late Manley and Julia (Peloquin) Lee.

 Nancy married Jim Kuebler on August 26,1961, in Appleton. Over Nancy’s lifetime she enjoyed teaching, traveling, reading, drinking and hosting tea’s, classical music and was, above all, an avid Packer fan. Most importantly Nancy truly loved her family and close neighborhood and school friends from elementary school, college and beyond. Nancy grew up in Appleton and attended St. Therese Elementary and Middle school, and graduated from Appleton West. She also attended UW-Oshkosh and graduated with both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in teaching. Nancy retired from Huntley Elementary School after 36 years of teaching kindergarten through second grade. Nancy was also an avid volunteer and helped out at The Heritage nursing home where she would host a yearly high tea for the residents. 

Nancy’s husband James Howard Kuebler preceded her in death at the age of 82, on August 14, 2015. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Amy Kuebler Myers along with her former spouse, Steven Myers; her grandchildren Samuel Myers, Zachary Myers and Anna Myers; her sister Roberta (Lee) Huberty and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation and Mass will be held on Friday, December 20th from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (visitation), and 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Mass) at St. THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1810 N MCDONALD STREET, UNIT B. APPLETON, WI 54911. Internment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton.

Nancy was a beloved parent, friend, sibling, grandparent, aunt and teacher who touched the lives of everyone she met. Known for her kindness, sense of humor and dedication to family and teaching. She will be dearly missed, but forever remembered.
