Nancy L. Bevers

Nancy Lee Bevers (Head) age 90 of Appleton, WI joined the choirs of angels in heaven on October 5, 2024. She was born to Daniel and Marie (Murphy) Head on July 2, 1934 in Stockbridge, WI. She met the love of her life, David “Bucky” Bevers and they were married in November of 1952 and together, they raised 5 children. 

If anything could be immediately noted about Nancy, it’d be her spitfire wit and humor. She enjoyed playing pranks with and on her friends and family. In her free time, she was a bit of a hustler, innocently playing cards or trying her luck at the slot machines and going home with all the winnings. You could often find Nancy out on the golf course, improving her game and competing in championships. Nancy always prioritized her family and attended every grandkid’s sporting event or show she could. She was so proud of each of her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, and great-great-grandkids and cherished every moment she spent with them. 

Nancy will be deeply missed by her children, Robin, Rhonda (Ben), Rick (Sherry), and Kelly (Steve); her grandchildren, April, Travis, Jessica (Eric), Jennifer (Cory), Karly (Brandon), Brice (Kelsey), Jacob (Lexi), Kashena (Brett), Annalee (Travis), Trent, Nate, Rebecca, and Hannah; her great-grandchildren, Avery, Preston, Violet, Scarlet, Makaida, Brady, Livi, Raven, Jayden, Casen, Nayvee, Ava, Lucas, Crew, Ryker, Levi, Hudson, Eddy, Blake, Mya, Nadiya, Nigel, Adrianna, Legend, Mason, Miles, and Sophia; her great-great-grandson, Jett; her brothers, Bob (Kathy), Don (Deb), and Mike (Lynn); her sisters-in-law, Ione and Mary Rose; as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, David; her parents, Daniel and Marie; her son, Randy; her grandson, Ryan; her brothers, Keith and David; and her sisters, Marion and Barb.

A memorial visitation will be held for Nancy from 3-6 PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home, 204 E. Kimberly Ave, Kimberly, WI 54136 with a memorial service to follow at 6 PM. Nancy will be laid to rest with her husband, David, at Community Lutheran Cemetery in Freedom, WI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established for Nancy. 

Nancy’s family would like to extend a special thank-you to the nurses, doctors, religious leaders, and other supporting staff at St. Paul Elder Services for their care and compassion shown to Nancy during her time of need.
