Nancy Ann Lappen, age 63, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 26, 2005, at her residence. She was born December 22, 1941, to Adrian and Leora (Nass) Meidam, in Appleton and had been a resident of Little Chute most of her life. Nancy was involved in home child-care for many years. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Dean Huss, Kaukauna; her son, Daniel Lappen, Arizona; five grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Huss, Amanda (Eric) Barlow, Erica and Danny Lappen and Angel (Tim) Mellon; five great grandchildren, Dalton, Quentin, Karli, Alexis and Hayden; her mother, Leora Meidam, Kaukauna; two sisters, Joyce (Ray) Gerow, Kaukauna; Jean (Paul) Lamers, Little Chute; two brothers, Ron (Helen) Meidam, Little Chute; Rod Meidam, Green Bay; four sisters-in-law, Marg (Pete) Noyes, Phyllis Lappen, Debbie Lappen and Bonnie (Mike) Moen; two godsons, Danny Lappen and Francisco Driessen; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel E. Lappen, in 1997, her father, Adrian Meidam, a sister and brother-in-law, Marlene and Lee Driessen, her father and mother-in-law, Mike and Agnes Lappen and four brothers-in-law, Wally, Bob (Jan), Pat and Tom Lappen. Funeral services for Nancy will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 1, 2005, at the funeral home, with Deacon Pete Reinl officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton, Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 pm, Thursday and on Friday from 10:00 am, until the time of the service.
