Age 81, died Wednesday afternoon, November 7, 2001, following a short illness. He was born April 29, 1920, to the late Albert P. and Emma (Buss) Deltgen, in Appleton, where he was a resident all of his life. Bud had been employed by Kimberly-Clark Corporation as a mechanic until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of Mount Olive Ev. Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Violet L. (Krause) Deltgen, to whom he had been married for 62 years; three children and their spouses, Rodney and Doreen Deltgen, Belleville, IL; Gloria and Neil Krause, Fond du Lac; Jeffrey and Gail Deltgen, Menasha; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Kelly N. Krause and a brother, Clifford Deltgen. Funeral services for Minden will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, November 9, 2001, at MOUNT OLIVE EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 930 East Florida Avenue, with Reverend Stephen Pope officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends and relatives will be received at the church from 10:00 am Friday until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established for Mount Olive Ev. Lutheran Church.
