Mildred Lila Payne Lynch

LYNCH, MILDRED LILA PAYNE

Mildred Lila Payne Lynch, age 93, a lifelong resident of Wisconsin, died on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at St. Joseph Hospital in West Bend, Wisconsin. Mildred was born on September 26, 1912, in Pardeeville, Wisconsin. She was a champion state-wide debater in high school. Mildred attended Mauston School of Nursing, using her nursing skills all her life.

On August 13, 1931, she married Vincent James “Bud” Lynch and moved to Menasha, her residence all of her life, until residing with her daughters during the past six years. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Neenah.

In 1943 she gave birth to the first set of triplets born at Theda Clark Hospital.

Survivors include her two daughters, Amy (Stephen) Bauer, West Bend, Wisconsin; and Heather White, Venice, Florida; her grandsons, Christopher Bauer, Nathaniel Bauer and Paul (Sue) White; her granddaughters, Heather (Alex) Hiam and Melanie White; six great grandchildren; and two nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent “Bud” Lynch; two infant daughters, three brothers and a sister.

In accordance with Mildred’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
