Age 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2003 at her home, following a brief illness. Mildred was born in Neenah on January 28, 1927, daughter of the late Peter and Agnes (Dedrickson) Graverson. Mildred graduated from Neenah High School in 1945 and attended cosmetology school. She worked as a beauty operator in Neenah and Appleton. On June 10, 1950, she married her soul mate, Fritz Peters at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Neenah. After raising her family, she worked at J.C. Penney as a catalog associate for 16 years, until her retirement in 1991. Mildred loved bowling and crossword puzzles. She also had an extensive collection of rings. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Fritz; a daughter, Kristine (Dick) Weisgerber, Appleton; a son, Kurt, Minneapolis, MN; a brother, Howard, Neenah; and many very dear friends. She was preceded in death by her two sisters: Myrtle Cartier; Bernice Ahrens; and four brothers: Earl, Les, Harold and Ray.
The Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 15, 2003 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME. Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Saturday, November 15, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions to benefit ThedaCare Hospice are appreciated.
