Mildred E. Gresenz

Age 85, died Saturday morning, February 3, 2001, following a brief illness. She was born, December 2, 1915, to the late Albert and Marie (Richter) Gresenz in Appleton, where she had been a resident all of her life. Mildred had been employed by Zwicker Knitting Mill until her retirement. Following her retirement she enjoyed traveling, she was also an avid bowler, Packer Fan and belonged to card clubs. Mildred was a life long member of Zion Lutheran Church and a member of Zwicker Quarter Century Club and bowling team. Survivors include two nieces, Sandra (Gary) Engebose, Green Bay; Janet (Dean) Arganbright, Oshkosh; seven nephews, Tom Gresenz, Green Bay; Mark (Linda) Gresenz, Phoenix; Don (Gloria) Gresenz, San Padre Island, TX; William (Jan) Gresenz, Fond du Lac; Robert (Tina) Gresenz, Orange, CA; Tim (Nancy) Gresenz, Sturbridge, MA; a sister-in-law, Vora Gresenz, Appleton; and her nephew Gary’s wife, Mona Gresenz, Appleton. She was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Gresenz, three brothers, Louis, Elmer and William Gresenz and a nephew Gary Gresenz. Funeral services for Mildred will be held at 5:30 pm, Monday, Febriary 5, 2001, at the funeral home, with Reverend Larry Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:30 pm, Monday until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established for Zion Lutheran Church.
