Michelle A. Marks

Passed away on August 27, 2017 at her residence at the age of 42 after a year and a half long courageous fight against cancer. Michelle was born in Neenah, Wisconsin on February 14, 1975 to Pete and Toni Hoertsch. Shelly graduated from Menasha High School. She was active in watersports, deer hunting, and amateur photography. Her daughters and grandsons meant the world to her. Shelly was the kind of person who would put the needs of others before hers.

Shelly is survived by her daughters Samantha DeMenter, Taylor Marks and Kelsey Marks. Grandmother to Carsen and Brysen French. Daughter of Pete and Toni (Willing) Hoertsch. Sister of Peter. Aunt of Peter and Anthoni. Grandmother Margene Willing. Brother-in-law Tyler Marks. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Shelly is preceded in death by her grandparents Doris and Sheldon Hoertsch, Raymond Willing, and cousin Nicholas Genett.

Memorial visitation at Wichmann Funeral Homes Tri-County Chapel, 1592 Oneida Street, on Tuesday September 5, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 PM. Service of Remembrance at 7:00 PM. Memorials to the family are appreciated. The family would like to thank Cindy Hoertsch and Kim Hoertsch for their care of Michelle during her illness.
