Age 42, passed from death to eternal life with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 25, 2002.

Michael was born in Chicago IL on October 29, 1959. On February 4, 1982, he married Mary Monica Johnson in Appleton.

Michael is survived by his wife, Mary, and two daughters, Jessica and Rebekah. Survivors also include his mother Emily Gast and three sisters: Kathleen and Michael Catrine, Karen and Todd Hatton and Kristine Madson, also four nieces and two nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Edwin Gast and a brother Marc Gast.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm on Thurday, August 29, 2002, at the funeral home, with Pastor Bill Lenz officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
