Michael R. Bourke

Michael “Mike” R. Bourke, age 58 years, from Appleton, WI, formerly of Minneapolis, MN, passed away due to medical issues on July 30, 2016. Preceded in death by his father Robert W. Bourke, his mother Marjorie J. Thayer and his brother John Bourke. Survived by siblings Suzanne (Bob) Pukal, Loralee Thayer, Thomas (Cindy) Bourke, Julie Winkler, Mary (Steve) Bourke, Richard (Brooke) Thayer, children Nicholas, Christopher, Michelle Bourke, 4 grandchildren, 17 nieces and nephews, 21 great-nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Michael proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and worked at the same company for 30+ years. Mike was also an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed his quiet time reading. Burial will be on September 20, 2016 at 1 PM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN, with full military honors in accordance to his wishes.
