Michael J. Huguet

Michael J. Huguet, 76, of Greenville, WI, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, on August 13, 2023. 

Mike was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on May 14, 1947 to Merlin and Ruth Huguet.  

On November 20, 2008, Mike married the love of his life, Mary Van Beek. They spent 15 wonderful years together and enjoyed travelling, and spending time with friends and family. 

Mike loved to cook and was not only skilled in the kitchen, but he was also a true grill master! He enjoyed working in his garage and tending to his garden. He really loved the outdoors in every way, golfing, fishing, boating, you name it!  

What Mikey loved most was his family and especially spending time with his amazing grandchildren. He was always the life of the party and was well known for his sense of humor.  

Michael is survived by his wife, his children Aaron, Jeremy (Christi) Huguet and their children Jack and Ella, Elizabeth (fiance Joe) Huguet and their children Chloe, Leim and Sebastian, Sara (Pierre) Gallant and their children Jeremy, Cassandra and Annabelle, his sister Andrea (George) Updike, brothers and sister in law Tom Van Beek, John (Kelly) Van Beek, Robert (Patty) Van Beek, nephews and nieces Kevin Hamernik, Stephanie (Jim) Weigert, Rebecca (Mike) Navel, Amy (Joe) Leubke, Michael (Jody) Van Beek, Jeremy (Laura) Van Beek, Elizabeth (Jesse) Van Beek, Peter Van Beek and Claire Van Beek, many great nieces, great nephews and friends. He is also survived by Linda Huguet.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and aunts and uncles.  

Visitation for Mike will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Wichmann Tri County Chapel (1592 S. Oneida St., Menasha) from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 pm. 

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Mike's name.
